His blades are the product of more than 25 years of experience and extensive training in the Tool and Die trade, along with a solid foundation in metallurgy, design, construction, and heat treating. Brian’s knives have been featured in hardcover books, magazines, and trade shows, winning « Most Innovative Design » at the 2010 and 2012 BLADE Shows in Atlanta, GA. He specializes in pocket knives and folding knives with custom locks and steel designs.

The Tighe Fighter is modeled after Brian’s custom design and is built with extremely tight tolerances, making for a knife you can use and abuse without any second thoughts. It’s a typical Brian Tighe style design which pairs an intricate, ergonomic handle with a wicked cool, functional blade. Open it using push button. The 3.8″ tanto blade is made from 154CM stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. The very ergonomic handle is milled carbon fiber with a full-length backspacer are made from milled aircraft grade aluminum with a black anodized finish. The button or plunge lock is very easy to disengage, just depress it and the blade closes with minimal effort. The stainless steel pocket clip is a Todd Begg style ceramic ball style design which slides on easily and provides more than adequate retention. Brian Tighe has a winner with this design, especially at this price point, and it’s also available in both an automatic and a compact version.
